Strategy, Concept Development, Casting, Script Writing, Pre and Post Production Services… #wedothat

Consider this. Two weeks to strategise, storyboard, script, shoot, and edit seven 15 second episodes. A squeeze to say the least, oh, and throw in some Covid restrictions just to make things extra fun. The Capture Content squad put their heads together and came up with the goods. The concept revolved around a protagonist role, the Coach! The Coach’s role was to guide the players into doing the right thing when using water. We aimed for a comical idea not only to tie in with the broader ‘Turn It Off Bob‘ campaign but to also engage with the proposed younger BBL fan demographic.

Our Successes

Effective turnaround times and flexibility to adapt to tight parameters. (e.g. locations limitations, covid restrictions, player and talent availability)

Script cleverly entwined cricket terms to enforce a cohesive brand partnership, also demonstrating cricketers as role models doing the right thing.

Positively communicated key water saving techniques that viewers could implement around the home and on the field. Narrative made water saving teaching relevant to cricket fans.

High production value considering need for blue screen due to restricted filming area - vibrant colours, on-brand SFX and animation.

Propping and uniform complimented larrikin coach/umpire characterisation.
